Absolute Studios is situated a short 3-minute walk from Parson’s Green tube station. There is plenty of parking available locally on Sundays. There are local shops and supermarkets where you will be able to buy your lunch from.
Michelle Lewis is a co-founder of R&R who trained as a physiotherapist at Kings. Michelle’s London physiotherapy base is the Octopus Clinic. She has worked in some of London’s most prolific physiotherapy practices, including Six Physio, Beyond Health and the renowned King Edward VII private hospital. She has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience from working in the City, West London and in Harley Street. Michelle is fully qualified in Acupuncture. She has also completed courses in mat work and equipment pilates, and has a certificate in Strength and Conditioning Training, both of which she applies to her specialist interest in function and movement.
Her passion is helping her patients recover from injury, move more efficiently and return to full fitness. Her ultimate goal is to arm her clients with the best understanding and tools on how to reduce the risk of injury in the long term. Michelle is currently writing a definitive guide to back pain in collaboration with Lucy Nifontova and a leading spinal consultant.
Luke Meessmann has dual degrees in Exercise Science and Exercise Rehabilitation, Luke has been helping people to take control of their bodies in the UK for over 12 years. With well over 15,000 hours of hands on experience behind him, and multiple Pilates qualifications to add to his two degrees, Luke can be considered a true expert in the fields of Dynamic Pilates and Exercise Rehabilitation. Luke is a master of Dynamic Reformer training and a renowned teacher trainer, having authored several training manuals and trained countless instructors to date.
Luke combines his inherent affinity for precise technique with true Aussie affability to ensure his clients get the best out of themselves and have a good time doing so. As head trainer of the fantastic team at Absolute Studios, Luke’s aim is for you to enjoy an absolutely ‘best in class’ experience each time you visit. Whether your aim is general improvement in health and fitness or indeed recovery from an injury, Luke will (either directly or indirectly) ensure you are guided safely and swiftly towards your goal of a more healthy, fit and functional you!
When he’s not instructing clients or fellow trainers, Luke enjoys spending his spare time training himself, (read running around after his 3 young children), playing music or watching his beloved Chelsea win another title!
